Privacy Policy

The short version

Onceentered stores the information you enter on your own computer, in your own browser. We do not have a server that holds it, we do not have an account system, and we cannot see it. We do not want it.

What Onceentered stores

Onceentered saves what you put into a profile. Depending on the forms you work with, that may include another person's:

• Name and date of birth
• Social Security number or tax identification number
• Email address, phone number, and postal address
• Employer, job title, and stated income
• Driver's licence number and issuing state
• Vehicle details, including VIN
• Insurance policy and carrier details

When you capture a profile from a form, Onceentered also stores that source portal's hostname with the profile so you can identify where it came from. The hostname stays in local extension storage and is never transmitted.

Where it is stored

All of it is stored using your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on the device where you installed Onceentered.

• It is not stored in Chrome's synchronised storage, so it is not copied to your Google account or to your other devices.
• It is not sent to us. We operate no server that receives it, and the extension contains no code capable of sending it.
• It is not sent to any third party, ever, for any purpose.

If you uninstall Onceentered, your browser removes that storage with it. You can also delete any profile from inside the extension at any time.

What Onceentered can and cannot see

Onceentered requests three permissions and no others.

storage

Saves your profiles on your device. It allows nothing to do with the network.

activeTab

Reads the fields on the one tab you are looking at, only after you open Onceentered and click. It does not allow reading any page in the background, or any tab you have not acted on.

scripting

Places values into that tab's form fields. It does not run on any site until you click.

Onceentered requests no host permissions. It has no standing access to any website. It cannot watch your browsing, it cannot run in the background, and it does nothing at all until you deliberately open it on a page and press a button.

What Onceentered refuses to do

• It never fills hidden form fields.
• It refuses fields that ask you to confirm or re-enter something, because filling both halves of a confirmation defeats the check the form is performing.
• It never submits a form on your behalf. You review what was filled, and you press submit.
• It does not use your data, or anyone's data, to assess, score, rank, or make any determination about any person. It fills fields. It makes no judgements.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. Onceentered contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party scripts of any kind. We do not know how many times you have used it, or on which sites.

The one network request — licence verification

On the free plan, Onceentered makes no network requests at all. With no licence key there is nothing to check, so nothing is sent, ever.

If you buy a paid licence, Onceentered contacts our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to confirm that your licence key is valid. It does this when you activate, and then at most once a day.

Payment itself is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Their privacy policy governs that transaction.

Children

Onceentered is a professional tool and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Onceentered handles data, we will update this policy and notify you inside the extension before the change takes effect, as Chrome Web Store policy requires.
